Scrum is an agile software development method for project management.
Non-Fancy way of saying this: Scrumming, which is a term often used in rugby, is actually a term for a close-knit team of project developers that work closely together in order to increase productivity. Here is an example of this: which is easier to develop with?
A large team of about 50 members, all of which perform a single task each
...or, a team of about 5 members, all of which work closely together in a "development community"
If you think closely, the choice is obvious. It is a lot easier to get 5 people together and agree on something than it is to get 50 people together.
This project has just been started as of September 24th, 2007. We should be operational by the end of the year.
